Site Information
When I applied for this fanlisting, I really never thought I'd be approved. I mean, sure, I'm a fan of Ayu's PVs, and I have okay design skills, but surely I was going to be rejected. The approval was a complete (and wonderful) surprise, and I immediately started thinking about what to do for the site.
However, thinking is not the same as doing, and it turned out that right after being approved, I became insanely busy via getting a job and having to go to it all the time. That aside, my computer time was severely limited, and it was pretty much all I could do to get a lame temp layout up the day before it was due. Of course, three days later I found the time to work on it. Ah, well.
You're probably wondering why I called this site "alterna." There are two main reasons for this. The first is, quite simply, alterna is my favorite Ayu PV, hands down. I can watch it over and over and over and just love it more every time. The second reason has more substance: basically, every PV is an alternate universe. They range from fanciful to bizarre, but in truth they don't show actual events. This is the same idea as the one I used for my Gackt PVs fanlisting, which is called ANOTHER WORLD because a) it's the name of one of his songs and b) each PV shows "another world."
I was originally planning to make this layout with *gasp* images from Ayu's alterna PV, but I couldn't get something I liked. My next idea was to use her most recent PV, Mirrorcle World, but the caps I had weren't good enough to make a proper layout out of them (at least not what I had in mind). I eventually settled on STEP you when I realized the final two shots would make a lovely banner if merged. That, and I'm pretty sure it was the first Ayu PV I ever saw. Maybe? I'm really not sure, I don't remember. XD
Yeah, yeah, tl;dr info aside, here are the "important" things.
